“I could see the lights come on in the faces of my teammates as we all began to realize how amazingly intuitive Wisp really is. Where has this application been all our lives?”
– Area Manager, Planning/ Design & Construction, ADP

Accurate floor plans are the heart of a successful space management software

The core of Wisp is up-to-date floor plans labeled with room numbers, occupant names, space function, and organizational unit. From there, information about the state of the workplace can be reported on, such as departmental allocations, vacancy, density, assets, and more.

With floor plans at the heart of space management, we take their accuracy seriously—after all, reporting metrics are based off of them. When financial values are applied to calculate space charges, accuracy can have a significant impact to your bottom line. That’s why we provide ongoing drawing management for our clients. It’s our way of making sure you get the most out of Wisp and maintain the integrity of the system. The result is equitable and explainable space management metrics based on a consistent, industry standard drawing methodology.

If you don’t measure it, you can’t manage it.

On demand CAD updates from the leaders in workplace

Gensler’s CAD specialists standardize drawing layers, room and station numbering, space types, and charge types. When changes are made to a floor plan, updates are sent to our team, who will promptly update the background drawings and affected space data, including polylines—keeping your internal resources focused on their primary projects. As floor plans change over time, the same standards will be applied to the drawings, ensuring consistency.

What about tracking occupants in unassigned environments?

Even if a workplace has free-address seating or hot desking, assigning occupants to neighborhoods allows for reporting and analysis of space ratios. Tracking key metrics such as density or seat to occupant ratio can become the basis for informed real estate and workplace strategy decisions. Wisp makes it easy to assign occupants to neighborhoods and communicate details about moves, adds, and changes with the MAC workflow.
